Mayhem (EMS) “Patriots” ft M-Dot, Edo. G, & Big Shug (Official Music Video)

This is the second video off Mayhem & Soulslicers impending “Soul It May Seem” album, aptly titled “Patriots” for it’s play on the NFL team’s colors. Legendary Boston MC’s Edo.G (Special Teamz / A&E), Big Shug (Gangstarr Foundation), and seasoned veteran M-Dot (EMS) accompany uprising lyricist Mayhem (EMS), as they pay homage to their city, colors and team.

While avoiding the cliche tributes, each MC uses individual verses, utilizing wordplay to articulate separate colors (Red, Blue, Silver) amalgamating into the “Patriots” voltron style. Big Shug provides the hook on this conceptual single, Soulslicers lay the drums and DJ LP2 handles scratch duties.
