Jake Palumbo Interview

Jake Palumbo is a producer, emcee, and studio engineer from Knoxville, TN. Now a Brooklyn resident of several years, Jake is the owner of SpaceLAB Recordings based in Manhattan. He’s collaborated with notable artists such as Ras Kass, Royce Da 5’9″, and Cappadonna, and has engineered a countless list of artists including Method Man, Fabolous, Styles P, Spoonie Gee, and Papoose. In 2003, Jake released his debut album, Future Dead Rapper. Since then, his label started with a $1,000 investment to press their own albums, execute their own street promotions, and book their own tours. Jake’s second album was District Selectman in 2007, followed by Jobber To The Stars in 2011. SpaceLAB Recordings released its debut compilation Space Camp in 2012.
