DJ Tony Touch Interview

Tony Touch is a b-boy, DJ, and producer from Brooklyn, NY. He has been contributing to hip hop culture since the early 80s. Being influenced by the Rock Steady Crew, Kool DJ Red Alert, Grandmaster Flash, and Jam Master Jay, he start. He began DJing and became popular for his 50 MCs mixtapes that included the best lyricists on the planet. In 2000, Tony released The Piece Maker album on Tommy Boy records, which featured Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Big Punisher, Cypress Hill, Gang Starr, The Wu-Tang Clan, and more. He followed up with The Piece Maker 2, which featured Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, Diddy, and more. In 2005, Tony released the Latin albums, ReggaeTony and ReggaeTony 2, which included popular Latin artists as well as N.O.R.E. Tony has toured over 30 countries and is a regular DJ on Sirius XM’s Shade 45 Channel. He also hosts Toca Tuesdays every week at Sutra Lounge from 8pm to Midnight. In 2013, Tony released his long-awaited album, The Piece Maker 3: Return Of The 50 MCs, featuring KRS-One, Busta Rhymes, Roc Marciano, Too Short, Xzibit, Kurupt, Black Thought, The L.O.X., The Wu-Tang Clan, Eminem, Twista, Bun B, Action Bronson, Prodigy, Slaughterhouse, Redman, Erick Sermon, and many others.
