Wordsworth of eMC | Interview

Wordsworth is an emcee from Brooklyn, NY. As graduate of SUNY College at Old Westbury, he met rhyming partner Punchline and recorded the Punch N Words EP in 2000. Together they appeared on A Tribe Called Quest’s album, The Love Movement, and on Mos Def & Talib Kweli’s self-titled Black Star album. In addition, Wordsworth starred in the MTV comedy sketch series Lyricist Lounge, which he co-created and scripted. In 2004, he released his solo debut album, Mirror Music. Over the years, Wordsworth has gained notoriety by performing on radio shows with Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito, and The Wake Up Show with Sway & Tech. Wordsworth is also a member of the group eMC, alongside Masta Ace, Punchline, and Stricklin. Wordsworth appears in the Kevin Fitzgerald film Freestyle: The Art of Rhyme among other film and television career ventures. In 2012, Wordsworth released his highly anticipated album, The Photo Album.
