Showbiz & A.G. are a producer and emcee hip hop duo from the Bronx, NY. They debuted in 1990 on Lord Finesse’s album, Funky Technician. Showbiz & A.G. are members of the hip hop super group D.I.T.C., along with Lord Finesse, Diamond D, Fat Joe, O.C., Buckwild, and the late Big L. The duo’s first release was in 1992, Soul Clap EP. Their debut album, Runaway Slave, was released later that year, with features from Dres (Black Sheep), Diamond D, Lord Finesse, and Deshawn. In 1993, Showbiz produced KRS-One’s single “Sound Of Da Police”. In 1995, Showbiz & A.G. released Goodfellas, with features from D-Flow, Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Roc Raida, Dres, Method Man, and Diamond D. In 1998, the two released Full Scale and began focusing on D.I.T.C. projects and solo projects. In 1999, A.G. released his solo debut, The Dirty Version, with features from Fat Joe, Guru, KRS-One, Big Punisher, and more. In 2005, Showbiz released his first solo album, Street Talk, with features from O.C., Big Punisher, Big L, Fat Joe, and more. The duo has continued to release quality projects over the years, with their most recent album in 2012, Mug Shot Music.
