Realm Reality aka Rick Gonzalez | Interview

Realm Reality is an emcee and actor from Brooklyn, NY. Upon hearing Big Punisher’s 1998 debut album, Capital Punishment, he was inspired to express his emotions through lyrics and began recording in 2003. Realm formed a group with neighborhood friends U-KRIME and released the first series of New York Krimes in 2005, which featured Mobb Deep and was hosted by Tony Touch. Realm was a guest on The Wake Up Show with Sway & Tech and later released two projects in 2006, Character Assassination Vol. 1 with production from Oh No, The Olympicks, and Kurupt, and Integrity, with contributions from Clinton Sparks and 40 Glocc. DJ Whoo Kid hosted U-KRIMES third volume of New York Krimes in 2008 with contributions from 40 Glocc, Prodigy, Sam Scarfo, Sa-Ra, Black Milk, and Freebass. In 2010, Realm released The God Of War mixtape, hosted by DJ G-Spot, and later released The Invisible Man mixtape. His most recent mixtape, In The Grind We Trust, was released in 2013 with contributions from Nottz Raw, Blu, Fred The Godson, Prodigy, Joell Ortiz, The Kid Daytona, Roc Marciano, Skyzoo, Termanology, and more.
