Peedi Crakk | Interview

Peedi Crakk is an emcee from Philadelphia, PA and a member of the group, State Property. Peedi first signed to Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001 with the help of Freeway and Beanie Sigel. In 2003, Peedi’s debut single, “One For Peedi Crakk”, charted in the R&B/Hip Hop Top 40. He was featured on Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, and Freeway’s debut album, Philadelphia Freeway. In 2005, State Property dissolved and Roc-A-Fella Records formally split into two between Jay-Z at Def Jam and Dame Dash taking the other half to Universal Records. In 2006, Peedi was featured on The Root’s album Game Theory. Soon after, Questlove offered Peedi an invitation to join the group. In 2008. Peedi signed with Amalgam Digital and has been continuously releasing mixtapes.
