O.C. of D.I.T.C. | Interview

O.C. is an emcee from Brooklyn, NY. His recording debut came in 1991 on the Organized Konfusion single, “Fudge Pudge”. His next feature was in 1992 alongside Nas, on MC Serch’s song “Back To The Grill”. In 1994, O.C. met Lord Finesse and Buckwild and joined the crew D.I.T.C. That same year, O.C. released his debut solo album, Word…Life, which became a certified classic. In 1997, O.C. released his second album, Jewelz, with features from DJ Premier, Da Beatminerz, and Bumpy Knuckles. In 1998, he was featured on Pete Rock’s solo debut album, Soul Survivor. The following year In 2000, the D.I.T.C. crew’s self-titled debut album was released, with members Showbiz & A.G., Diamond D, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, O.C., Buckwild, and Big L. O.C. has released several solo albums over the years, including Trophies in 2012 with Detroit producer, Apollo Brown.
