Mike Nitty | Interview

From Atlantic City, NJ, Mike Nitty is an emcee and producer that continues to break down doors and garner success in the music industry. In 1997, he began recording and was given a chance to appear on mixtapes by DJ Clue, DJ Kay Slay, DJ Whoo Kid, and many others. Soon after, Nitty was releasing his own mixtapes that have circulated across the country. His presence is much heavier in the streets than on the Internet, which has allowed Nitty to collaborate with Ghostface Killah, Craig Mack, Raekwon, Beanie Sigel, Immature, G-Dep, Ginuwine, and more. In 2001, Nitty produced a track for Ghostface Killah’s album Bulletproof Wallets called “Love Session”, featuring Ruff Endz, which also appeared on the Barbershop Soundtrack. In 2005, Nitty produced 9 tracks for 50 Cent’s documentary Refuse 2 Die. In 2008, Nitty produced his debut solo album, From The Bottom To The Top, on his label, Black Balled Records.
