Maffew Ragazino | Interview

Maffew Ragazino is an emcee from Brooklyn, NY. He began rhyming at age 7, influenced by his uncle who listened to Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubian, A Tribe Called Quest, and others. As a young artist, he was embraced by Red Café and featured on two tracks on Red’s album, The Co-Op. Maffew then appeared on Sean Price’s mixtape, Kimbo Price. In 2010, Maffew released the album, Where I’m From: The Experience, with features from DJ Clark Kent, Masta Ace, Marsha Ambrosius, Nottz, and more. In 2014, he released the Brownsville Jesus mixtape, featuring Action Bronson, Skyzoo, Troy Ave, !llmind, BINK!, Harry Fraud, and more.
