L.S. Jones | Interview
L.S. Jones is an author and radio host from New York City. Inspired by her upbringing, L.S. wrote her first novel, The Queenpin’s Daughter, describing the economic and cultural differences that divide social classes and the common humanity that binds them together. The story is about a young woman born into a family that has a legacy of crime. The main character, Deidra, struggles to escape the family business and discover genuine love. Her story allows the reader to witness desperate people battling to survive in the ghetto, contrasted with the self-indulgent elite of upper Manhattan. Writing the novel inspired L.S. to create a foundation dedicated to empowering struggling teen girls to heal, enhance character, build integrity, and develop life skills.
