Imam T.H.U.G. | Interview

Imam T.H.U.G. is an emcee from Queens, NY. In 1996, he was recruited by Tragedy Khadafi to work in the offices of 25 To Life Entertainment. Tragedy and Imam formed a hip hop group called Iron Sheiks and released a single titled “True Confessions” as well as an EP in 1997, Illuminati. Imam appeared on Capone-N-Noreaga’s classic album in 1997, The War Report. In 1999, Imam was featured on Violator: The Album alongside Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Big Punisher, and more. In 2000, Imam collaborated on Nas’ album, QB Finest, and released an album in 2003, Die Hard. In addition, Imam has recorded freestyles for DJ Tony Touch, DJ Clue, DJ Envy, and DJ Kay Slay.
