Dub Rock All-Stars is a hip hop group from Brooklyn, NY, originally known as Da Bush Babees. The members grew up in Jamaica and Trinidad, which explains the heavy reggae-influence in their music. In 1992, they formed a crew and began collaborating, attracting major record label interest. Da Bush Babees signed with Reprise and released their debut album, Ambushed, in 1994. Production credits include Jay Matias, Jermaine Dupri, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Salaam Gibbs and the group itself. In 1996, they released their sophomore album, Gravity, which became a commercial success. Dub Rock All-Stars are currently finishing their third album.
