Diaz | Interview

Diaz is an emcee from Toronto, ON. He began writing at age 10 and took it serious in his teens, in addition to being a b-boy. In high school, he founded the Hip Hop Club where students came together to rap, sing, break dance, DJ, beatbox, and tag graffiti on canvas. In 2007, Diaz released his first demo and later won the Urban Source MC Battle. In 2009, his debut album, Rhyme For Reason, was released and led to performances in Argentina and Cuba. Diaz has earned widespread attention for competing in Canada’s premiere rap battle league, King Of The Dot. His sophomore album will includes features from Theology 3, Termanology, Phizzix, Fresh Kils, and more.
