Collin Gibson | Interview

From Milwaukee, WI, Collin Gibson has been a producer and emcee since the age of 15. He was influenced by artists that create their own lane, such as Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, OutKast, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Kanye West, and Lupe Fiasco. Collin joined the Army and formed a hip hop group with a military friend. From long distance, they recorded songs together via the Internet and released an album online that sold over 2,000 copies. After his time in the Army, Collin moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue a career in music. He was recording with local talent and performing at local venues. Soon after, Collin was signed for a short period as an in-house writer and producer for Teddy Riley’s Artist Factory. Later, Collin joined the group Passport, with members Spread the love
