Chaz Kangas | Interview

Chaz Kangas is an emcee and freelance journalist, originally from Minneapolis, MN. Now living in NYC, Chaz covers music, film, and pop culture in his editorials. His contributions are featured in the New York Times, Village Voice, LA Weekly, Citypages, Complex, and many others. He also teaches an after-school music program in New York for high school students. Chaz is currently co-authoring an autobiography for R.A. The Rugged Man. Chaz’s official album, A Personal Reference, was released in 2011 with features from J57, Mac Lethal, Homeboy Sandman, and Alaska (Hangar 18).
