Recording “Twelve” by DOMINION & HYDRA

In the late 90s and early 2000s in New York City, rappers were freestyling on the street corners and battling one another. They competed at events and even rolled together in crews to different areas and boroughs to find more competition. DOMINION was made up of PackFM, Substantial, and MrMecc. HYDRA included members GMS, L.R. Blitzkrieg, and WildChild. The two groups came together under the umbrella known as The Plague, along with several other affiliates. The Plague made an impact on the hip hop scene in the flesh, but rarely recorded songs as a complete group. At the end of 2012, six members of The Plague rekindle their contagious disease of talent on a song called “Twelve”. It was released on 12/21/2012, when the Mayans predicted the world to end. Check out this rarity joint venture between MCMI Records and QN5 Music, produced by WildChild.
