Cortez is an emcee from Brooklyn, NY. He is most popular for battling in leagues such as Lionz Den and more recently, URL. Cortez records music with the intention to educate others by personifying his struggle. He has been featured on MTV2’s Fight Klub and belongs to NY collectives known as Murda Ave and NYB. In 2009, Cortez released the mixtape, The Hidden Vault, hosted by DJ HOF. In 2011, he released another mixtape, Exception 2 The Rule, hosted by SuperStar Jay & SMACK.
